For our new and growing site in Lelystad, working for a well-known Global Fashion brand, we are looking for a Business Support Manager, responsible for the team of Process Controllers.
What you do on a typical day
• Programme the automated distribution system of articles derived from the replenishment of stores
• Serve as point of contact for Customer and GXO Operations regarding systems and processes
• Manage the team of 10 Process Controllers (monitoring warehouse process flow, resolving issues, determining root causes, and implementing solutions)
• Manage warehouse management systems (WMS), monitor and optimize various processes
• Maintain and update information systems (AS400, Databases...)
• Carry out daily production reports, as well as obtain production data for subsequent analysis with the Logistics and Systems Department
• Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning
• Support day to day management activities: you will lead major customer projects as the GXO representative
• Work together with Operations to meet customer goals and GXO objectives
What you need to succeed at GXO
• A few year's experience in a similar type of role
• Broad technical knowledge of WMS, affinity to IT
• Experience in people management
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Knowledge of Dutch or Spanish is a plus
• Pro-active and results oriented attitude, ability to think out of the box
• Commitment to deliver high quality work
• Ability to monitor and uphold high quality of service to clients (internal and external)
