This consultative position will allow the Business Solutions Lead (BSL) to interact directly with Clients, provide guidance to fellow team members and the Project Engagement Team to develop efficient strategies and tactics to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner with exceptional quality.
This senior role will be engaged throughout the entire project life cycle. The BSL will be partnering with Clients during their business transformation to our suite of financial software products to ensure a positive outcome for our clients. In addition, you will be working with and supporting the sales team to develop a quality pipeline, build a winning strategy, and conduct Product Demos to Clients to accelerate sales cycles.
Key Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesBe the primary business requirements point of contact with clients to interface with BroadridgeUnderstand the business process requirements of our clients, help translate them into future state processes, and support or prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD)Document and analyze the required information and data to understand and support the business processesShepard the clients' business requirements throughout the SDLCStrong familiarity with technical integration patterns, Broadridge's API definitions and business usageLeading System Requirement Document (SRD) walkthroughs with clients, Broadridge's architecture and development teamsLiaise as required with client vendors in support of technical integrationFacilitate knowledge sharing, training sessions, sales support and provide business Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to clients and potential stakeholdersSupport clients during the software configuration process to meet their business needsSupport clients with industry certifications (i.e., RESP & RDSP)Support client implementations and post implementation Business-as-Usual (BAU) supportTravel may be required to client locationsOther duties as assigned by ManagementBasic Skill Level Requirements
Education:College Diploma or University Degree, preferably in a Business and/or Computer/Software related discipline.Any investment industry related certifications that pertain to investments and/or registered product management would be considered an asset (i.e., Canadian Securities Course (CSC)Experience:7+ years in a Business Analyst, Business Subject Matter expert and/or Quality Assurance roleSkills:Financial industry knowledge including regulators and regulations (IIROC, MFDA, OSFI, FATCA, AML, CASL, etc.)Familiarity with Financial industry business data domains (CIF, Product, Finance, etc.)Experience in the financial services sector. Knowledge of Term Deposits, Mutual Funds (record keeping or distribution), Equities, ETF, etc.Knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLCExperience with portfolio management is a definite assetStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, "service-first" attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to work independently on projects with tight deadlines and minimal supervisionFully bilingual (French / English verbal and written) would be an assetTools:Proficient in MS OfficeRecruitment Process
