Collins Aerospace is looking for a Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to proactively serve as a "trusted advisor" and are the primary liaison between Digital Technology (DT) and the Collins Aerospace Business Units and/or functions. BRMs contribute to the success of Collins Aerospace through effective and innovative leadership in strategic DT initiatives on behalf of the business. The BRM is responsible for understanding the business and DT services, assisting in the prioritization of DT initiatives, ensuring that they align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing DT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. What YOU will do:

  You will understand business unit and functions, Collins Aerospace's customer needs and strategic business direction to identify opportunities for technology innovation.You will influence strategic DT portfolio (AOP & SFP) in support of overall business strategy.You will lead prioritization of BU demand for DT based on organization(s) needs/strategy.You will understand change impacts and resistance and formulates strategies with key stakeholders to address impacts and build commitment.You will collaborate with other BRM's, business unit and DT senior/middle management to ensure corporate, business unit and DT objectives are aligned and being met.You will Influence business outcomes through communication and building alliances to achieve desired results.You will manage internal business stakeholder expectations with respect to DT services, identify gaps between business partner needs and DT capabilities; work to find innovative solutions that meet business objectives.You will align business and DT strategies viewed by business partners and DT as a liaison and performance is typically measured by on-time delivery of agreed upon solutions within cost and stated value.What YOU will Learn:

  You will learn how share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.You will foster relationships with your Digital Technology peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins.You will ensure communication with business units and DT on respective portfolio, including business unit priorities, business specific DT issues and value harvesting of DT investments.Education & Experience:

  Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience.Qualifications you must have:

  Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.Requires mastery knowledge of multiple work areas typically obtained through advanced academic qualifications and combined with experience.Broad and deep knowledge of industry trends with the ability to identify and influence RTX's product or business strategies.Skills We Value:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
