Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Business Planning Analyst level 2 to support our growing business in our Rocket Center, West Virginia location.
Overview:
Plans program efforts of an organization's activities. Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans.Assist Program Manager in directing all phases of programs from inception through completion.Assist Program Manager with cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.Leads a cross-functional team of associates with a wide range of skill sets, ensuring roles and responsibilities of all team members are well understood and executed.Ensures program-wide focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.Manages subcontractor actions and performance.Controls expenditures within limitation of project budget.Develops and manages performance metrics on assigned programs to drive continuous improvement.Develops and delivers presentations to management, and other program stakeholders.Performs Risk and Opportunity Management. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree plus at least 3 years of experience or a Masters degree and at least 1 year of experience.Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.Salary Range: $68,500 - $102,700
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
