Description
Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS offers over 100 fully featured services to millions of customers around the world—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—to power their infrastructure. Global ISV & Marketplace Operations supports the partner team to enable AWS teams to better serve our partners and customers in their journey to the cloud.
The WW ISV & Marketplace Sales, Strategy, Operations, & Enablement (SSOE) team is looking for a WW Operations Manager to join the team; a team hyper-focused on measuring and improving the performance of ISV partnerships, hygiene, pipeline and revenue. As a member of this team, you will leverage strong data extraction skills to provide solutions, create and simplify processes for operational effectiveness, build mechanisms that improve leadership decision-making, and manage global initiatives for a top Strategic partner, Salesforce.
You have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, across ISV partners, and across other geographies. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve data and operational problems, implement new solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards. Engaging with multiple internal AWS and external stakeholders, including Finance, Alliances, Sales, Operations, and Service teams to manage and support the operational cadence of the business.
You will be a highly motivated individual that seeks to “tell the story” of the data with little direction or supervision. You will possess both a business and project management background that enables you to partner across the entire alliances team and drive strategic programs. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to work in a high-volume and fast environment and with cross functional teams.
At Amazon, we live our professional lives by the Leadership Principals. When we hire, we look for those who are Amazonian rather than for someone who fits an exact resume mold. To us, diversity in thought and experience is a good thing. We are hiring for attitude and training for skill because we recognize success takes many paths. While possessing the above criteria would be helpful, if you have a passion for customer success - we want to talk to you. We are looking for someone who can help us create the next version of what it means to be a great partner to our ISVs. We will coach the right fit.
