  As an individual contributor / member of the Business Operations team within Mailchimp, you will enable Mailchimp to deliver outcomes with speed, and scale Mailchimp's impact across Intuit and the competitive landscape. The BizOps team is responsible for managing major strategic projects and the Mailchimp Operating System - how the organization operates and delivers outcomes - including strategic planning, delivery of goals and programs, Operating Mechanisms (OpMechs), and processes that drive organizational effectiveness.

  We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence stakeholders across the organization, lead high-visibility high-impact projects end-to-end to deliver business results and bend seamlessly between strategic and tactical work.

  What you'll bring

  5-8 years of relevant experience in delivering significant strategic and operational impact across an organizationExperience in leading large complex projects/programs or organizational change initiativesStrategy and operations experience in a technology company, consulting experience in top management consulting firms, or strategic/analytical roles at top companiesExperience leading and facilitating conversation with executivesStrong problem solving skills, including the ability to simplify complex strategic problems with a structured approach and develop data-backed solutionsStrong business acumen and creativity including the ability to generate innovative insights and ideas to identify new opportunities that help advance the businessOutcome-driven mindset with an ability to convert strategic plans into actions and drive projects to completionExcellent communicator with strong facilitation skills and connecting-the-dot abilities. Able to explain complex topics and convince stakeholders to take actionWell-rounded interpersonal skills. Able to work in a highly cross-functional environment, develop strong relationships, and influence stakeholdersExperienced change agent. Able to influence and build consensus and trust across teams to accelerate outcomesQuick learner with a growth mindset. Able to quickly learn different domains and ramp up expertise in new areasWorks with a sense of urgency and is able to prioritize individual action items in order to focus on the most important things at all times

  How you will lead

  Drive the operating rhythm of the business and improve efficiency in how we operate by defining and monitoring ongoing business metricsSolve business/operational challenges and develop new capabilities/processes as a driverCreate and drive operating rhythms for the organization, including designing and managing operating mechanisms, monitoring ongoing business metrics, running the planning process, creating clarity and accountability around goals, driving organizational-wide changes and leading development of new processes and capabilities to support operational needs of the organizationIdentify new opportunities that help advance the business and provide key contributions to overall business vision and direction (e.g. input on multi-year, multi-group, cross-program strategy, roadmaps and success measurement)Resolve high-priority strategic problems (e.g. business growth strategy, change management, organizational redesign and ad-hoc strategic initiatives), by framing strategic questions, designing experimentation, leading data analysis, drawing conclusions/solutions, preparing presentations and advocating with senior stakeholdersPartner with executive sponsors and accountable leaders to shape and drive an initiative-level strategyEnsure the end-to-end experience outcomes and overall initiative input and outcome goals (strategic, customer and financial) ladder up to the broader business strategy Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision-making and information flowFacilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve the way we work togetherIdentify the need for new processes, create clarity around goals and key responsibilities of drivers and stakeholders, and lead the charge to implement and improveLeading and driving strategic initiative execution with end-to-end ownership, including identifying important priorities that need attention, developing a plan to tackle, bringing the right team together to execute and managing progress, risks and dependenciesPartner with senior leaders to jointly problem solve and develop solutions to complex business problemsConceptualize, plan, and lead strategic programs that drive organizational effectivenessElevate and escalate risks and issues to leadership in a timely manner, and construct and develop C-level content and updates
