As a Business Operations & Finance Associate at Byte, you will use robust data analytics and financial modeling to drive business growth and profitability. You will have exposure to senior management, influence key strategic decisions, and gain operational experience in an innovative and fast-growing company.
Your role will span all departments to develop and test new strategies, while optimizing the P&L. Through your data-driven recommendations, you will actively influence every aspect of the customer journey, including customer acquisition and marketing, product design, sales optimization, manufacturing, and treatment. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Accounting and Operations, to gather financial information and provide insights to support the business’ performance.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis : Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and leverage data in a creative and analytical manner to make strategic or tactical recommendations
Financial Modeling : Develop ad hoc models to forecast and analyze strategies, opportunities, and risks through NPV and ROI analyses
Presentations : Prepare concise and effective presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and impactful manner
Execution : Involve problem frameworks; develop hypotheses, tests, and analysis to inform solution development; assist with implementation efforts; and develop monitoring plans for successful execution of projects
Product : Perform modeling/analytics to assist new product and pricing strategies
Marketing : Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, evaluate new channels, and optimize existing strategies
Monitoring : Identify and refine KPI metrics to target to monitor business performance and improvement
Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters Degree in analytical/quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Math, Science, Business)
2+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, business strategy & operations, or corporate finance
Excel and PowerPoint mastery
Experience in SQL, R, Python is a plus

The base salary for this role is $125,000.
