  Description

  Business Manager Sr - Supplemental Health Voluntary Specialty

  Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

  Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. Responsible for managing internal relationships with Enterprise Medical Implementation & Operations.

  How you will make an impact:

  Leads efforts to identify best practices.

  Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

  Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

  Designs methods for integrating function and process.

  Conducts cost/benefit analyses.

  Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

  Train LIT, Case Install, Membership & Billing on proper administration of SH products in WGS.

  Assist with WGS peer-to-peer audits during peak seasons; trouble shoot WGS and/or Employer Access administration issues; and assist in Medical Operations with WGS production work as needed.

  Lead monthly round table with Enterprise LIT & Ops; participate in calls with WebTPA Customer Service; and participate in open SSCR calls.

  Minimum Requirements :

  Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years process improvement, business change or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  Insurance health care sales and support experience most notably in supplemental health highly preferred.

  Experience and knowledge of data analytics, project management, project execution, process improvement (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.

  Exceptional strategic thinking, quick learner, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.

  Proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals strongly preferred.

  Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, strong executive presence with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties highly preferred.

  Experience and knowledge of WGS operating system and/or JIRA strongly preferred.

  Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word strongly preferred.

  For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $87,120 to $156,816
