Amazon Advertising team seeks a talented business intelligence Engineer to support the APAC LCS Ads Finance team. The role will work closely with leadership in both finance and business teams. As APAC Finance BIE team, our mission is to enable our customers to obtain and dive deep on key business metrics by building, maintaining, streamlining business and finance relevant dashboards and analysis. We lean in providing insights & analytics to support APAC LCS Sales and Finance teams. Key job responsibilities
Own the design, development, and maintenance of datasets, ongoing metrics, analyses and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
Use analytical and statistical rigor to identify performance gaps and opportunities for optimization.
Work with central and regional BIE team in global collaboration efforts

Use analytical and statistical rigor to answer business questions and drive business decisions
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Meeting with business stakeholders, requestors and regional and WW team members for on-going projects and new intakes
About the team
APAC LCS CB Finance team supports ads team in China LCS cross border and APAC AM org. These are nascent, high growth and high visibility areas with stakeholders in China and Japan LCS sales team. Our Finance team is designed to be collaborative, although team members have clear ownership of an area(s), success typically involves partnering with others in the broader finance team.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
