Prime Video European Finance team seeks a business intelligence engineer to support Amazon Studio's Music Licensing Team in the reporting and operational elements of Prime Video’s deals with music and non-music societies worldwide. This role owns the end-to-end processing of usage reporting, vendor communication regarding reporting, and the automation and improvement of reporting systems/processes. This role requires someone who can build scalable data pipelines, manage queries and data sources, identify and implement process improvements, and is able to effectively work cross-functionally with other teams- able to translate technical information into simple terms.
Key job responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:
· Execution and delivery of quarterly/historic/adhoc reporting
· Gather and translate business requirements into scalable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
· Maintenance and updating of queries for change of terms
· Society communication and ad-hoc support
· Provide guidance on reporting guidelines and data sharing
· Collaboration with Prime Video data engineering teams to ensure accurate reporting
· Providing sample data sets prior to deal execution
· Troubleshooting/reviewing data quality issues or inquiries
· Develop automated solutions to simplifying reporting processes
· Work towards alignment with music industry reporting standards

Basic Qualifications
Experience working as a BIE in a technology company
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in the data/BI space
Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
Strong communication skills and ability to simplify technical language
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Educated to degree level in a math, statistics, computer science or equivalent technical field
