The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working on a range of employment-based immigration matters, including developing immigration strategies, programs, and processes for corporate employers to manage their foreign national workforce. This is a non-partnership track position.We are acollaborative team seeking an attorney who is ready to exercise the initiative necessary to take their practice to the next level. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and references and strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external client relationships effectively.Some of the responsibilities for this position include the following:Assessing eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States, including, but not limited to E-1/2/3, H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, and I-485 adjustment of status applications;Reviewing casework and developing a clear case strategy at the outset;Communicating regularly with clients regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy;Supervising the work of paralegal staff in case and document preparation;Drafting responses to requests for evidence;Partnering with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects; andConducting in-depth research staying abreast of changes in the law and practice, and drafting client updates on any important developmentsCompensation is $180,000 to $225,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
