Job Description Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees. Throughout the internship you will work on BAU work within your team, be given an end-to-end project to complete and take part in a variety of trainings to increase your learning. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a global social impact case challenge as well as hearing from senior leaders through our Visa Executive Speaker Series.

Team Description
The Business Development function is responsible for driving new business. New Business is about New Flows, New Clients, New Contracts and New Thoughts.. We work with non-traditional clients, Fintechs, Governments and Corporates to invent the best way to pay and be paid.
We drive growth in Central Europe by establishing close partnerships and delivering relevant business development opportunities for our clients and partners. This involves working in partnership with key internal colleagues across the Visa business including (but not limited to) client-facing sales teams, product, finance, and marketing to articulate the value of Visa vs. alternative payment methods and networks. Our ability to be successful rests on gaining a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, market trends, and ultimately client needs.
This can cover a wide range of areas ie., make Visa number one choice for Fintechs, drive growth of B2B specific solutions, support Governments in digitalizing their services and drive experience and usage of cross-border payment solutions.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity deep dive into one or several of these areas and learn from an experienced team at Visa.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The intern will contribute to the team’s success through a range of activities, examples of which include:
Support the Business Development team in exploring and winning new non-traditional clients, market segments and new payment flows, including project managementAnalyze specific new potential opportunities for Visa in Central Europe and build support the formation of first strategies on how to capture new payment flows or clientsAssist in the execution of client and partner meetings, from aligning goals and important across functions up to build strategy and conception for the individual meeting or workshop, including active participation Support KPI analysis and market landscape assessmentsSupport the Business Development team with ongoing operations and administration Qualifications Visa are a talented team of 27.000 passionate individuals with unique backgrounds, perspectives and experiences.
