The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development Research Manager to join our Team as part of our financial services business in Dublin.
As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2008. The Business Development Research Manager is a varied and wide-ranging role. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Lead global research initiatives, employing a mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to derive actionable insights for business growth and risk mitigation. Design and implement research strategies to identify new business sales opportunities. Develop and implement research frameworks tailored to the financial services industry, focusing on market trends, competitive analysis, regulatory changes, and client group portfolio segmentation and services preferences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into recommendations for strategic initiatives and utilise evidence-based insights for actionable business development and marketing plans. Establish/enhance predictive analytics capabilities to forecast market trends and customer behaviours, driving automated proactive strategy formulation. Recruit and mentor a team of researchers, ensuring continuous skill enhancement and professional growth. Requirements
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 10 years research experience, preferably in a financial services organisation. Extensive experience on delivering market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights. Strong leader with the ability to work collaboratively and independently in a demanding environment. Proficiency in advanced research methodologies, data analytics tools, and presentation techniques.
