Job Description
This Sales Development Representative will be partnered with a National Account Executive with the responsibility of helping them build their book of business through scheduling meetings. This corporation manufactures and sells video surveillance technology to dealers. This Rep will cold call clients and potential clients to schedule meetings and appointments for the senior sales rep they are partnered with in order to help them hit monthly quotas. This will consist of high-volume, outbound calls each day. A list of names and contact information will be provided based upon the sales strategy, and this rep needs to simply call these people to schedule these meetings. There will be a base salary that ranges based upon experience from $45,000 - $47,000. Additionally, there are monthly and quarterly opportunities for bonuses. If the senior sales rep they support hits their quotas, they will be eligible for bonuses based upon the success of that account. This varies per account and per percentage of quota success. They can expect overall annual income around $60-$65K including their bonuses. This person will be training and developing professionally with the overarching goal of becoming a National Account Executive like the one they are partnered with.
Skills and Requirements
2-3+ years of experience in a high volume outbound calls role such as a sales development, appointment scheduler, or telemarketer
Sales knowledge to be able to know best practices such as when is best to leave a voicemail versus a call back, or when to follow up with a meeting that wasn't scheduled on the first try
This person should have an interest in learning more and growing in a sales career as this is a stepping stone position into a National Account Executive role - Video surveillance, home automation, home installation, CEDIA industries experience null
