   Position Summary

  The role holder will support the EMEA Structured Finance and Derivatives practices in the EMEA Capital Markets Regional Section.

  Working within the EMEA Capital Markets Business Development team, this role will be to support the EMEA Structured Finance and Derivatives partners within the broader Capital Markets practice, to assist with a range of marketing activities including pitches.

  Experience of securitisation and derivatives markets would be beneficial for the candidate considered for this role.

   Responsibilities

  Responsibilities are not limited to, but are likely to include the following: Managing and driving the preparation of pitches, proposals, capability statements and other client presentation materials, working in collaboration with partners Working with partners to help develop and implement the group's marketing budget and related business development initiatives Liaising with BD professionals in other Sections and Industry Groups to identify opportunities for the EMEA SF&D practices Managing the practice's Business Development materials (e.g. credentials, CVs etc) Helping to organise conferences, events and thought leadership pieces Managing the process for press releases, brochures and other communications (external and internal) Managing directory submissions (Legal 500 and Chambers), awards nominations and league table entries, including by preparing the initial drafts for review by the partners Managing CRM and other marketing technology tools

   Education and Qualifications

  Educated to degree level or equivalent Relevant marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) is desirable Record of business development experience in a professional services firm or financial institution - preferably with related business development experience

   Capabilities

  Knowledge of relevant practice areas Responsive and positive attitude Partner-focused approach Strong communication skills, written and oral Track record of project management and delivery of pitches and proposals

   Location and Reporting

  This is a role based in our London Office. Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00 with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week This role reports to the EMEA Structed Finance and Derivatives Partners and to the Associate Director, Business Development - EMEA Capital Markets.
