Description: Lockheed Martin Manassas is seeking a Summer 2024 Program Support intern to assist a cross-functional team environment encompassing a full range of project management and business development activities. Candidates must display an ability to think logically, have strong written and verbal communication skills and a project management/results-oriented mind set. This intern will support our MES (Mission Electronics Subsystem) program and will work closely with the program management, financial and business development teams.
The candidate must be able to operate in a diverse and dynamic environment and utilize collaboration tools to interact with the team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline of Business/ Finance and/or Analytics.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
• Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
• Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
• Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision.
• Innovative, energized and self-directed to lean forward and implement new insights

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
