  Job Description Summary

  As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

  As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in setting the next standards in medication delivery in the UK. Your primary focus will be on prioritizing ground-breaking MDS solutions in key accounts and emerging spaces. This role involves identifying, managing, and developing key accounts to position MDS as a strategic partner at senior stakeholder levels for joint value creation. Your efforts will contribute significantly to achieving MDS sales and GP targets.

  Responsibilities:

  Establish professional relationships with assigned accounts, including ICS and healthcare executive bodies.Drive value creation for customer executives by detailing pathway efficiencies from the MDS solutions and products portfolio.Identify and qualify new business opportunities successfully.Lead the deployment of new commercial capabilities and innovative contracting models in new spaces.Present strategic value propositions into healthcare at various levels, using BD economic tools and models.Differentiate MDS solutions from competitors and optimize patient care based on a strong value proposition.Create and lead strategies for specific customers and opportunities.Collaborate with the wider MDS and BDX team to optimize sales growth and customer experience.

  About You:

  Proven business development, specifically in solutions development.Bachelor's degree, MBA, or post-graduate Marketing qualification preferred.Consistent overachieving sales performer in strategic accounts/key account management roles.Strong commercial foresight, demonstrated through securing innovative commercial partnerships.Deep understanding of the UK healthcare market with excellent executive-level relationships.Strong communication skills with a growth mindset and an executive presence

  This is a field position with up to 50 % travel. The ideal location for this role is in the area of Manchester-Leeds as you will cover the North region.

  Selection Process: The selection process involves a phone interview with our Talent Acquisition team, followed by a technical interview with the direct manager who is the Country Business Leader for this business unit. Successful candidates will proceed to a final interview with senior collaborators and HR, during which a presentation will be required. Additionally, candidates will be asked to complete a personality test.
