  Do you have the aspiration to actively shape the transformation of the Aerospace industry? Are you keen to work in a global and motivated team including colleagues from DI, SI, and many regions? We are looking for a Business Development Manager (f/m/d) to join the DI FA hosted Aerospace Team. In this role, you will become part of the SVM Aerospace, a cross-business Vertical Market (with DI MC as lead BU). Join us now!

  What part will you play?

  You drive Siemens Aerospace business in selected regions to achieve business growth in the Aerospace industry.

  You work hand in hand with the Aerospace Account Managers in selected regions as well as the Aerospace Team hosted in DI MC – targeting the Aerospace end customers as well as their suppliers. You coordinate cross-BU projects, support trouble shooting as well as develop customers and market awareness for key topics (e.g. digital twins, sustainability, standardization), drive lead generation and contribute during the customer buying cycle.

  You act as a trusted partner for the Aerospace community in regard to the DI Automation portfolio.

  For this role specifically, you build transparency for Aerospace related projects in close cooperation with System Integrators and OEMs to gain knowledge of the industry.

  Furthermore, you support strategic internal initiatives and proactively contribute to the strategic development of the portfolio.

  What you need to make real what matters.

  Excellent academic track record with a bachelor/master’s degree in economics/business, engineering, or another related technical field.

  Many years of professional experience in automation technology or mechanical engineering.

  Ideally experience in both technical and sales environments.

  Expertise within the DI Automation portfolio relevant for Aerospace.

  Ideally, you possess knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and its specific automation requirements.

  International and intercultural experience as well as experience and success in business development.

  Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  Proficiency in German and English
