We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, business developer to help effectively communicate the organization’s strategy and vision to our customers, employees, and stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic communications, content, customer references, and coordinating AWS and industry events for the GAIIC team. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, AWS service teams, AWS industry teams and AWS Professional Services delivery teams to drive the overall messaging and positioning, and help build business value in ways that are scalable, repeatable, and extensible.
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with the WW Head of Marketing, GAIIC to:
• Implement the marketing and communications strategy for the GAIIC.
• Create and deliver compelling marketing and sales enablement content (slides, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories) and customer reference materials.
• Write clear and concise copy that captures attention across a variety of mediums and channels, and presentations that maintain the AWS brand voice and style.
• Develop internal communications supported by clear narratives that engage organizational employees and leaders.
• Earn trust, provide expert SME, and effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including ability to identify, develop, and optimize organization processes, playbooks, or tools.
• Ability to create mechanisms and drive alignment and adoption within the organization.
• Ability to think critically and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications
4+ years’ experience in marketing (i.e., strategic marketing, product marketing, content marketing)
3+ years’ program or project management experience
2+ years’ experience working cross-functionally across Sales/Field, Marketing, Enablement
Preferred Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience managing sales, training, content strategy, learning & development or a related field that demonstrates experience educating and enabling.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including Field Sales, Marketing, Training & Certification, Public Relations.
Ability to use hard data and metrics to make and support decisions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
