Job Description Summary
The Business Coordinator I, under general supervision, provides support and coordination of a variety of business activities requiring independent judgment, including reviewing business documents, and assisting in developing, monitoring, and reporting accounts and budget data as directed by supervisor.
Responsibilities
Works closely with Business Coordinator III to manage all fiscal related activities for the Healthy South Texas program.
Receives goods and processes invoices and requisitions in AggieBuy.
Enters payment card transaction detail for unit cardholders into expense reports in Concur.
Investigates errors on transactions and recommends and coordinates appropriate corrective action.
Assists and creates unit expense corrections in Canopy.
Assists with inventory tasks as needed: creating transfers, help with annual certification, and assist with proper disposal of state property.
Assists with annual fiscal year closing activities.
May assist in the planning, developing, and coordinating activities associated with conferences and unit meetings.
Maintains business files and assists with specialized business projects, tasks, and activities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
