As a business Continuity Manager II within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH or Pittsburgh, PA.
Key Experience Needed for Success:
Using a risk-based approach,, define, develop, and manage the Technology and Security Risk and Resilience Risk Management strategy, primarily through the Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA), to include recommendations to address the risks. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting ERA findings, including financial impact projections, while working with appropriate Risk Management partners to develop risk-based scenarios for exercise and testing activities to validate calculated loss assumptions.
Participate in the Operational Resilience maturation by working with 2LOD and tech partners as well as extended Business Resiliency team to understand current program, data elements, and strategy changes and the impact to the organization's risk appetite and state of readiness.
Keep the pulse on changing threat landscape, on the financial / global stage including Financial Industry, third / fourth party partners and other chain suppliers which could impact PNC ability to operate, respond, or recover. In depth experience in research, and analysis of published risk and resiliency expert opinions and survey reports, as well as evolving threat and risk trends is required.
Demonstrate experience with ERA continuous improvement with knowledge of key IT, business, , data protection, and change management processes and associated risks and controls within major financial services firms to maintain security and resilience requirements.
Must understand Business Continuity (BC), Business Resilience (BR) and Operational Resilience (OR) including key components of BC methodology such as Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment (RA), and trending risk analysis. Issue Management, RCSA, and PRC experience preferred.
Must have a high level of understanding IT systems, architectural/infrastructure design, and disaster recovery strategies.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional relationship building and management skills to navigate PNC's stakeholder community and possess the ability to collaborate and communicate with various levels of leadership and peer groups.
Job Description
Serves as the central point of contact responsible for leading the Business Continuity/Crisis plans for a large business segment or group. Responsible for the successful implementation of the organizations Business Continuity Lifecycle and / or Crisis Planning.Manages a team responsible for the execution of business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster preparedness planning and testing.Provides insight to the vision and direction for business continuity lifecycle planning, including the business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery planning and recovery testing.Ensures the compliance of each aspect of business continuity. Partners with the business in relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.Leads a functional area within business continuity/crisis management that drives effective recovery planning and testing of recovery and response capabilities.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
