As a Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Funds Transfer Pricing organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Gaithersburg, MD; Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; or Birmingham, AL
Primary responsibilities and activities include:
• Performing as a key contributor within the management accounting team supporting the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) function and taking the lead on projects and initiatives.
• Develop and refine FTP methodologies for new and existing suite of banking products.
• Produce daily and monthly FTP reporting, including forecast, attribution analyses and variance commentary.
• Participate and lead project work within the FTP and Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA) team on projects and methodology implementations. Current project work includes implementation of new or enhanced funding treatments on banking products, BSBY cessation, optionality on lines of credit, foreign currency exposure, and the expansion of OFSA to consume new banking platforms.
• Partnering with other finance functions, Asset & Liability (A&L) Management, Line of Business consumers, and MIS Support to deliver accurate, timely financial results.
• Derives meaning from big data (i.e., datasets that may be large, disparate, unstructured, and/or complex)
• Responding to inquiries, performing analyses and presenting recommendations to senior executive management (the FTP Manager, Director of Financial Systems, Controllers, etc.). Ability to influence strategic decision making.
• Develops, tests, and implements FTP methodology and operational changes within the OFSA platform.
•Maintain and create complex financial models (discounted cash flow, interest rate sensitivity, amortization)
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Prior experience in financial services specifically Corporate Treasury, Asset and Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity Management or Funds Transfer Pricing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of a bank’s balance sheet, banking products, complex financial instruments, Net Interest Income, Bank Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk, Asset/Liability Management Practices and Funds Transfer Pricing assumptions and methodologies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. VBA and spreadsheet automation experience a plus.
• SQL/query experience is required. Experience with large datasets preferred.
• OFSA, Hyperion Essbase experience is a plus. Familiarity with TOAD and Tableau a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing needs.
• Ability to prioritize and engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated competency in analytical and written and verbal communication skills. An ability to put complex subjects in simple terms to explain to executive level management and end users.
• A self-starter mindset and high level of insightful curiosity in order to constructively challenge presented information to make sure it is accurate and meaningful.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills. Able to use technology, contacts and deductive reasoning to get to the bottom of reporting requests.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
MBA, CFA, FRM or CPA is a plus.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
