Job Description
As a Business Analyst in Supply Chain Management, you will be expected to work independently on setting up contracts in Supply Chains billing system that will be used for invoicing allowances. This person will need to interpret contract language and update billing rules in system for accurate invoicing.
Job Responsibilities
Contract setup in billing system (RIM)
Create/Modify rules in billing system based on contract
Setup income provisions
Check unit of measures conversions
Work with Sourcing Team to ensure setups are accurate
Update setup packet to be submitted for review
Review data during setup process
Work with data team for any changes needed
Receive necessary approvals for setup packet
Review setup packet with Associate Business Analyst for invoicing
Analyze purchase and billing data to make sound business decisions
Think and reason critically on how the RIM set-up will drive billing activities and interact with the cash application and income recognition processes
Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Suppliers, Information Analysts, Sourcing, RDM?s, IPS, Avendra, HPSI) to answer questions and resolve complex issues
Participate in training with Associate Business Analysts
Support Associate Business Analysts with their tasks
Perform contract reviews as part of the SCM contract review process as required
Work autonomously
Follow department procedures and controls
Complete special projects and tasks as assigned
Ensure all tasks are completed by fiscal month end
Assist Associate Business Analyst with Growth Allowance calculations
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics
Proficiency using a PC, including a working knowledge of excel
Proven organizational, communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret/analyze complex contracts are required
A strong detail orientation is a must
Ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently is essential
