  About the team

  The Senior Business Analyst – ServiceNow will own the success of our ServiceNow platform as a member of our IT Application Excellence team within Corporate IT. You will be an evangelist for ServiceNow throughout the company, and ensure the platform is robust, healthy, current, and fulfilling the needs of the business.  Your immediate objective will be to support the ongoing effort to reduce our technical debt and backlog on Agile framework.  

  The portfolio team you will join is responsible for designing, configuring, building, and supporting solutions on various applications and platforms including ServiceNow, Atlassian, Kantata, Miro and Aha!. Your potential familiarity or experience supporting these platforms would complement this team.

Your journey begins by formulating and leading engaging and collaborative teams of business and technology experts that will focus on streamlining our internal business processes with innovative use of current and future ServiceNow modules driven by efficient and scalable business workflows. Through innovative and scalable technology, you will enable Kinaxis to continue our tremendous growth and drive amazing experiences for our employees.

  In this role you will proactively partner with all stakeholders to understand the business objectives, operating model, and processes. Through this gained business knowledge, you will identify areas where user experience, efficiency and productivity could be improved using business process improvements and technology solutions. Essential responsibilities include managing relationships, communications, business process development and analysis, data analysis, requirements elicitation and definition, solution configuration, troubleshooting and support, project coordination, documentation, training and ensuring compliance with IT General Controls including Sarbanes Oxley 404 Controls.

  What you will do

  Provide business analysis, implementation, integration, configuration, and testing excellence in support of the ServiceNow platform.

  Lead collaborative teams of business users and stakeholders, subject matter experts, business analysts, and developers to drive value from our investment in the ServiceNow platform.

  Work with this collaborative team to manage the backlog of ServiceNow improvement opportunities (features, enhancements, fixes etc.) using an Agile approach, delivering a regular sprint release cycle.

  Be the ServiceNow guru at Kinaxis, understand and interpret new features and functions in forthcoming ServiceNow releases and continually broaden your ServiceNow knowledge and skillset to ensure we take full advantage of the ServiceNow platform.

  Lead the implementation and support of ServiceNow modules, upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and features in collaboration with business SMEs, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Developers.

  Lead new application implementation projects, including project coordination, data migration, user training, ITIL process implementation go-live and post-go-live support.

  What we are looking for

  4-5 years of functional/professional experience in ITSM-related applications, this includes business analysis, project management, testing and/or application support, with a minimum of 2+ years ServiceNow experience.

  ServiceNow Administrator Certification, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification preferred. ITIL Certification a plus.

  Solid ServiceNow knowledge with demonstrated experience in the following modules:

  IT Service Management

  IT Operations Management

  HR Service Delivery

  Strategic Portfolio Management

  Employee Center Pro

  Experience leading ServiceNow implementations & integrations, optimizing workflows, notifications, mobile app, virtual agent, performance analytics, CMDB, asset management and regular upgrades highly desired.

  Expertise with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & agile practices.

  Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional and system requirements.

  Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies, object-oriented, and web-based systems, applications, environments, and relevant tools/technology.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence and lead a diverse group in technology implementations.

  Ability to work respecting international time zones.

  Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.

  Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate several alternative solutions to meet business needs.
