  Position Summary:

  This is a global role working across our Shared Services Centres in Hungary, Scotland and Costa Rica. The successful candidate should be confident working in a fast paced, customer-centric environment with good communication skills and judgement. This role will work closely with internal customers and colleagues to deliver tools, metrics and dashboards. The objective is to help the Operations teams drive data analytics around performance management.

  For this, we are looking for someone with reporting and analysis experience, as well as basic understanding of finance/accounting.

  Responsibilities:

  Handle the end-to-end reporting activities and planning for the AR departmentProvide analysis using available data to empower and assist customers in making decisionsWork with multiple sources to map data and build new reports using SQL queries and other toolsAnalyse data to identify and diagnose issues early, to bring the right people together to propose and implement a solutionAssist in the design, implementation and development of analytics solutionsMeet with business partners to understand and clarify their reporting requirementsCreate and write documentation, communicate business and technical requirements for the implementation of BI solutionsPerform quality checks from business requirements to user acceptance testingCollect baseline data on important metrics and identify any gaps for new migrationsSupport reporting and process improvement initiatives and work together with key partners to:Understand business requirements and specificationsAnalyse current process, including process mappingIdentify reporting improvement/automation opportunitiesDesign solution together with the business, IT and other key collaboratorsFacilitate design and planningQuantify impacts and manage commitments for reporting projectsMeasure success and collect feedback of implemented solutionsAbility to work flexibly on occasion, when dealing with US contacts or at month/quarter end

  Key Skills, Qualifications or Experience:

  At least 2 years' experience within either reporting, data analysis, finance, accounting, AP or AR, a finance supporting function, either building reports or in customer careStrong reporting experience or skillsAbility to gather and document customer requirements - from our internal customersExperience working in the financial sector and a basic understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) with strong Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high attention to detailProficiency with data analysis tools like SQL, ETL conceptSolid grasp with Power BI and Power AppsAbility to extract and analyse data using SQL to build reportsAbility to prioritize and organize work efficiently, working in a dynamic environmentGood interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment and with various levels of managementWillingness to learn new concepts, and work with new tools and systemsExperience with various ERPs or financial software (Oracle, SAP, Navision) is desirableProject management skills would be advantageous
