Overview
Responsible for optimizing the performance of business operations by analyzing current and forecasting future performance. Conduct analyses and gather, organize and review data to support general business operations and planning activities and ensure processes are integrated and effective across the department. Growing an understanding of business needs and objectives. Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased scope and complexity. Developing professional with basic skill set and proficiency with procedures and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
Conduct analyses and reporting in support of general business operations
Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units and compatibility with organizational strategic goals
Document business processes and workflows; identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement
Analyze and evaluate business data to identify solutions to basic business problems; use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, and/or process measurement analysis
Analyze processes and workflows to understand value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
Create reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems and value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
Qualifications
Must have Metro2 reporting knowlesge
2-5 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning and analysis
Basic understanding of business and operating environment
Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, analysis and operations research
Research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Effective problem resolution skills including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Effective project management skill to lead projects and/or initiatives of small to medium scope to include working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
