For our Smart Infrastructure Operational Company, Energy & Performance Services business, we are searching for Business Administrator (BA) who is a key finance member of the finance team & driving the commercial sales activities to drive the business growth
This role will be carrying out all commercial tasks during the entire contract to contract cycle for 3rd party or affiliated business.
What are my responsibilities?
• Supporting the sales & bid management teams in all commercial and legal matters to define the correct costing, the winning price strategy and to ensure cashflows.
• Analyzing, assessing, commenting, and negotiating tenders and contracts.
• Defining the business model and legal contractual terms and conditions with customers, consortium partners and subcontractors.
• Advising and leading the regional units regarding the commercial aspects of the offer in particular projects where financing is involved.
• Identifying and financially assessing opportunities and threats, defining, and implementing suitable measures to reduce risks or exploit opportunities and creating provisions for residual risks.
• Ensuring offer calculation within internal guidelines (LoA live tool).
• Carrying out asset management (Cashflow planning).
• Coordinating commercial aspects of the offer (e.g. applying for and monitoring bank guarantees, insurance, etc.) and coordinating topics relating to law, tax and insurance.
• Handling all aspects relating to tax (PATAC), currency and insurance etc, while ensuring that the relevant department is involved and internal business models are taken into account.
• Complying with tax provisions, provisions under commercial law and in-house business administration provisions.
• Actively participate in the LoA processes and contract negotiations when early involvement is required,
• Taking role in negotiating the commercial and legal terms of contract with customers, regional companies, subcontractors, among other things through assisting in proceedings,
• Preparing and presenting sales funnel data for forecasting and budgeting
• Close cooperation with corporate groups like Accounting, Finance, Tax, Supply-Chain Management, Legal, Compliance (as relevant),
• Actively communicating with customer’s commercial representatives
• Be a role model for the sales team members to act according to business conduct guidelines and establishing a culture of trust and integrity,
• Regularly performing lessons-learned activities on commercial sales aspects
• Actively engage in FP&A & controlling activities of the business
• Cross functional team collaboration by close contact with SCM, legal, compliance, tax departments
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics
• Min.5 years of experience in a related field
• Good command of English language
• Specialization and/or additional education in business administration & sales activities
• Knowledge of LoA guidelines, financial accounting (Local Accounting, IFRS), controlling/reporting, project financing, logistics, commercial laws, tax, and customs regulations etc,
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP,
• Analytical thinking result and quality - oriented approach, professional judgement & problem-solving ability and good communication skills are required competencies,
• Team-oriented ability to work with cross - functional teams,
• Being able and willing to work in a multi - cultural environment,
