The Field Service Engineer is primarily responsible to maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service business on Stryker's products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. He/she delivers technical assistance at customer sites and provides documentation to internal and external customers.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker productsComplete annual check and calibration according to MDR on customer siteUtilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, access technicalinformationAssist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safetynotices and field action noticesFulfil Service contracts with planned maintenancesDelivery of technical Training to internal & externalPerform Installation of Stryker systems on customer sitePerform Software & Hardware UpgradesEfficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external referenceEnsure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting toolsProvide technical support to Internal and external customersEscalade opportunities and issues appropriate team meetingsEnsure excellent follow-up on all customer-initiated issuesEnsure service provided is invoiced if not under warrantyScheduling of Customer visits in cooperation with Customer service
Your profile:
Educated to degree level in engineering medical electronics and camera technology or
equivalent, at least one of the following:
- Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Mechanical / Software
- Medical Physics
- Technology Subjects
Up to 1 year experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills.
Up to 1 year experience in the hospital environment and health care work.
IT experience on administrative and technical level.
Experience and ability to build relationship with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty.
Must be capable of working in a varied range of scenarios including the workshop, hospitals, and theatres.
Your skills:
• Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English and local language
• Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook)
• Must have the ability to prioritize work and manage stress
• Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
• Must have a service- and quality-oriented mindset

Travels will be a regular occurrence within the South East region.
