Commissioning Technicians provide expertise and knowledge throughout the system or service project lifecycle on customer sites in large commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. Why is this so important? Our Commissioning Technicians are the customer interface for all technical requirements, including estimating, tracking, start-up and commissioning projects, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment.
As a Commissioning Technician, you will:
Attend pre-booking meetings to gain knowledge of the sales estimate and project scope; analyze plans, specifications, and contract details to determine system requirements; select products and determine appropriate placement to meet specifications
Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team; Identify time-sensitive installation needs; coordinate work with subcontractors
Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects; track resources and project progress
Oversee the creation of system graphics; troubleshoot issues, including identifying and debugging software, and diagnosing electrical or pneumatic installation problems
Organize and maintain job documentation. Prepare engineering re-estimate reports.
Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training.
Act as a technical resource to customers and field employees
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in installing and/or servicing building automation systems
Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, business operations, and job financial reports
Able to read/interpret electrical circuit diagrams
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for employer-based sponsorship now or in the future
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or Associate degree in related field
7+ years experience in installing and/or servicing building automaton systems

The pay range for this position is $75,700 - $129,700 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
