The Opportunity
Adobe Digital Imaging group is looking for a senior engineer who is passionate about software application Build and Release process, managing its infrastructure and help to speed up editbuilddebug cycle. As a member of the CI/CD team, you will play a crucial role in directly influencing engineering productivity across the organization which will accelerate the delivery of our world class products Photoshop and Lightroom into customer hands. This requires design and development of effective delivery pipelines with an eye for Correctness, Speed and Scalability.

You will be working to enhance our tooling that run our development pipelines, researching the latest in computer technology and keeping Adobe's internal operational build eco center humming. What you'll do
Design and develop build technologies, processes and methods for highly complex software compilation, packaging, validation, archive, and release.Own and continually improve the software applications and tools that run our CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with the development community to make their CI/CD experience effective.Automate everything you touch! Leave it better than you found it!
What you need to succeedAutomate everything mentality.Proficiency in design and developing applications using Object Oriented Programming approaches using Python, Groovy/Java or Go.Proficiency in writing unit tests, mock tests with strong focus on TDDGood experience in writing Jenkins pipelinesExperience in supporting fast paced C/C++ desktop application development team CI/CD pipelines.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or build and release automation.
Great to have
Experience with build systems (CMake, Buck, Bazel, Ninja, Xcode, Visual Studio etc.).Experience with build avoidance and build parallelization systems (ccache, sccache, icecream etc)Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.Knowledge of AWS
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
