Job Description Summary
GE Vernova: Leading A New Era of Energy
Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority. If we want our energy future to be different, we must be different and lead the initiative to drive change. That is our mission. Steam Turbines are one of GE's core products for clean energy generation. When used in combined cycle plants they enable the achievement of upmost efficiency and power. Whether the plant operates on liquid or gaseous fuels, carbon neutral e-fuels or hydrogen, steam turbines significantly drive decarbonization. While steam turbines themselves are CO2 free, they also enable traditional combine cycle plants to reduce carbon emissions through carbon capture capabilities.
Our Steam Turbine Engineering team develops and designs highly efficient turbomachines and seeks new talents to join. Latest engineering sciences and disciplines integrated with digital technologies are key competencies we are looking for. New joiners will enjoy a highly empowered and impactful team working across the entire product lifecycle.
Are you interested in being part of the GE Vernova team Leading A New Era of Energy? Do you like having full ownership of a critical technology across the full lifespan? Is a position of Technical and Leadership growth limited only by your imagination and initiative appealing? Maybe a position in our Steam Turbine Engineering team is for You!
The Steam Turbine Bucket/Blade Aeromechanic Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing both rotating and stationary Bucket/Blade technologies enabling world-class Steam Turbine performance and efficiency. This is a critical role requiring both system level knowledge of turbomachinery safety (overspeed) and detailed mechanical component expertise to design the power producing component within the turbine.
