THE BRAND & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Are you looking for a challenge with huge potential for growth? We are looking for an ambitious, high profile Brand manager. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for one of the UK's most iconic and loved Beauty brands: Max Factor.
You will be responsible for creating the future brand strategy for the Eye category. You are the guardian of the brand equity and will ensure flawless execution in line with the global guidelines.
You will have responsibility for a significant commercial plan, ensuring that we minimally meet our financial commitments. A constant understanding of the commercial delivery is required to course correct plans, leading to maximizing return on marketing investment.
You will be intellectually curious to understand the Eye category and brand performance drivers through our many & varied data sources. You will be agile and persistent in discovering insights through data and using your natural tenacity to convert these into commercial opportunities and plans.
Your strong communication skills are vital to align all internal and external stakeholders, including functions such as sales, commercial excellence, finance, visual merchandising or supply chain. The partnership with global marketing needs to be built on trust, constant communication and aligned objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Brand Strategy Management:
Full ownership and responsibility for the Eye category. Identify market risks and opportunities to build growth plans in line with business targets and brand goals. Lead overall brand planning for your category Develop and deliver local initiative launch plans in collaboration with internal key stakeholders (e.g. sales team, supply chain, brand finance) Bring in depth consumer understanding to develop and implement consumer led NPD and communication program Be a UK consumer and market champion working closely with our global team to build strong activation plans fit for the UK in line with the UK brand objectives Identify from the global pipeline the next big UK NPD and lead the go to market plans including benchmarking, initiative sizing, retailer sell in and launch activation Co-lead with sales meetings with retail customers to align on mutually beneficial growth strategies and plan for your category Working with the internal & international merchandising teams to manage the design and production of local POS elements, ensure they follow both Global guidelines and UK market requirements. Managing and organizing potential experiential events for the brand from concept through to creation.
Media:
Lead the annual media briefing for your category Responsibility for the full media plan & execution of best-in-class ATL and BTL activation across the full media mix for your category Understanding the media market and media plan, driving through new thinking to drive trial with the target consumers. Liaising with internal PR/ Influencer Marketing team to drive consumer engagement and off and online reach. Collaborate with Digital Brand Manager to inform the brand's Digital Strategy, Ecosystem and always-on plans, as well as development of NPD/Initiatives specific activations for your category
Analysis
Conducting pre and post analysis of launches and promotions - qualitative and quantitative. Brand analysis and share reporting on a monthly basis providing insights to relevant team members.
Finance
Local brand management including P&L steering to make sure all brand investments are delivering vs target KPIs and profitability targets for your category Work with internal teams on forecasts of all new initiatives and correct phasing in line with our sell-out ambitions for your category
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Degree or equivalent qualification in a Business related degree preferable. Experience in a similar role A strong financial acumen, understanding the details of P&L drivers and management. A relentless passion for the Beauty industry. Analytical mindset; A doer who proactively seeks improvement, is a solution provider and a problem solver. Organized A team player.
