Key Responsibilities
Brand Assurance:
Manage and champion the Brand Assurance (BA) function, uphold brand polices and guidelines for WBCP in the region, specifically related to the Fashion and Home categoriesFirmly grasp all BA guidelines including product, packaging, promotionFamiliarize oneself with all branding materials including style guides and marketing updatesMaintain an updated library of all BA guidelinesContinue to improve and streamline the BA operation to enhance efficiency and speed to marketConduct product line reviews with Director, Creative/PD and BA to gauge performance of agents and licensees, implement follow-up action plans, and monitor areas which require performance improvementProviding the necessary reports for management, product development/creative category and marketing useMaintain and manage physical samples from regional submissions in the sample room in Singapore
Agent management:
Train, assist and motivate agent Creative/PD and BA personnelAssist Director, Creative/PD and BA in supervising, upholding and improving the performance of agent Creative/BA. Ensure our service commitment to licensees is delivered for efficiency and qualityConduct with Director, Creative/PD and BA, if required, in-market audits and monitor compliance as appropriateSupport agent Creative/BA personnel on enquiries and system requirements
Provide BA servicing to WB direct licensees:
Conduct BA training and follow-up meetings to WB direct licensees as appropriateEducate and update licensees on all changes in guidelines, policies and proceduresProduce accurate, consistent and timely comments on submissions
Assist in IP protection actions as appropriate:
Maintain an accurate record of all submitted concepts and products via internal systems, StarlabsStrictly enforcing legal policies with all agents and licenseesProvide assistance to WB Legal and Customs Department as appropriate
Creative function:
Assist the Director, Creative/PD and BA on creative projects as requiredKnowledge and understanding of market trends
Competencies we are looking for
Preferably General Art degree holder or equivalentAt least 5 years or above working experience in product design and development and/or administration. Experience in licensing business is a plusComputer literate in Adobe (Mac-based) and Microsoft applicationsAssist Director, Creative/PD and BA and WBDCP for pitch and Creative/PD work as requiredDetailed-orientedAbility to multi-task jobs and prioritize workGood team player and ability to work with external vendors as requiredPositive; outgoing; hands-on and openFluent in spoken and written English (other Asian language a plus)Occasional travel, as requiredHandle actual sample submissions, including moving and opening incoming sample boxes and the productsMust have the ability to communicate effectively, possessing confidence and diplomacyWillingness to learn and listen
Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and pressureProficient in Adobe Suite (Mac-based), Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
