In this role, you'll amplify the Deloitte brand presence and voice by driving our brand strategy through the external channels in advertising, including digital, print, SEM, social, OOH and partnerships. You will have the opportunity to design and collaborate with our creatives as well as our external media buying partners to launch our message to our key audiences, building pride in our organization and driving interest and engagement with our clients. The Advertising and Media Strategy Leader will lead the US member firm paid media strategy for full funnel presence from brand to demand. Leader will collaborate and work across various groups within Marketing Excellence to design the strategy and governance model for firmwide brand, talent, and business unit advertising . The Brand Advertising, Media Strategy and Governance leader will lead all aspects of the development, evaluation, and deployment of our firmwide media strategy and build our relationships with key external partners. You will design the strategy, create and negotiate publisher partnerships , evaluate channels, create content strategies to drive interest, and evaluate and select high impact experiential opportunities across all aspects of Deloitte's marketing investment, including sponsorships, that will demonstrate Deloitte's standing as the world's most valuable and successful commercial services brand, as well as the destination for top talent. In addition, you will liaise with and represent the US firm on Deloitte's Global Brand and Marketing advertising councils developing advertising and media strategies and investments globally.
You'll report to the firmwide US Brand Strategy and Activation Leader. This role will have strong collaboration with our Creative teams, Communications Leader, our US and business unit CMOs and other sr. leaders across Marketing Excellence translating business objectives, data and research insights and overarching brand strategy and positioning into external visibility plans.

Work you'll do:
Develop media strategy and governance approach across US member firm to enable audience-led advertising campaigns and showcase breadth and depth of Deloitte's capabilities.
Develop media strategies for the firmwide brand level at the owned and paid consideration, inclusive of incorporating strategies from our earned opportunities as well as developing content strategy to drive impressions of the brand.
Partner with global brand leadership to activate high-profile campaign elements across member firms.
Create and set objectives for visibility and performance, and create budgets across stakeholder sets to deliver audience engagement
Serve as primary contact with external media agencies as well as all creative agencies, internal and external, on campaign ideation and development
Identify and create unique, category-exclusive opportunities with high profile publishing partners. Manage negotiations and measurement of extended relationships, alongside investment KPIs.
Serve as primary owner of internal relationship management, both for campaign strategy and outcomes as well as extended publisher relationships across verticals
Develop standard and playbook for extending firmwide ad campaign and voice to additional secondary level media buys for industry, business, Talent and Purpose-focused campaigns, as well as key social campaigns .
You will collaborate with the content strategy team with responsibility for providing overall visibility into availability of, driving development of original, as well as enabling best practices for creation, adaptation, distribution, and promotion of highly relevant, valuable on-brand content necessary to attract, acquire, engage, and grow relationships with our target audiences.
Set measurement standards and work closely with sources of insights and analytics, and our technology team, to quantify the impact of brand campaigns and activations on the business and identify opportunity areas for strengthening.
Manage, lead, and grow a motivated and highly talented team of professionals.
Optimize and harmonize internal, agency and partner relationships for consistent brand visibility and experience across all lines of business and internal functions.
Stay current with thought leadership, branding trends, technology, media trends, and competitive strategies, translating that knowledge into new ideas.
The successful candidate will possess:
Dynamic, collaborative, leadership, inspired big strategic thinking, advocacy building, influencing and harmonizing feedback across multiple stakeholder cohorts in service of advancing large bodies of work that deliver proven impact
Track record of successful campaign development; compelling executive presence, professional client service manner, and can interact with all levels of management
Strong collaboration, creativity, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making skills. You enjoy working as a team to solve problems and have a bias toward action.
Prior experience leading large multi-disciplined teams across multiple geographies working virtually and within a matrixed organization preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm(B2B experience a plus)
A passion for innovation and experimentation, You balance innovative approaches with business objectiveswhile addressing compliance imperatives. You're comfortable pushing for big thinking, engaging in debate in the pursuit of great work, and are skilled at removing roadblocks to ensure the right ideas are executed.
Experienced at launching new brands / services / products to the marketplace to new customer segments / audiences
Demonstrate deep knowledge of branding and marketing principles, practices, and trends. You have extensive experience in developing high visibility/impact campaigns and know today's media landscape well.
Prior experience leading advertising and media strategy teams across all disciplines
Demonstrated proficiency in media KPIs and ability to translate insights into action
Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating, delegating, and motivating cross functional, multi-disciplined groups

Qualifications:
15+ years relevant experience in marketing, advertising, media strategy and measurement
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related discipline
Experience selecting and managing external agency resources for results
Familiarity with and understanding of Agile methodologies and operating principles
Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support advertising delivery and measurement efforts
Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144300 to $265600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
