At C.H. Robinson, we're currently seeking a Branch Manager in the Istanbul branch. As the Branch Manager, you'll be leading a team of local employees in Istanbul. Your role will encompass overseeing capacity and account management activities, ensuring the fulfillment of customer transportation needs, delivering top-notch experiences, and meeting the financial targets set by the organization. Your primary focus will revolve around managing and implementing a business plan geared toward achieving profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
Grow the business through:
active cooperation with regional and corporate sales teams on planning and supporting new sales as a subject matter expert.delivering excellent service to existing customers, implementing account management routines to accelerate the growth of existing accounts, and preventing churn of business.delivering excellent value to existing carriers, and implementing carrier management routines to accelerate growth of existing relationship.Branch P&L responsibilityHold ongoing business reviewsManage and execute business plan for profitable growth of domestic businessCoordinate change management initiatives (communication, implementation and reinforcement)Ensure that our customers, carriers and employees are informed of emerging market trends and are well-positioned to adapt correctly to market changesManage team of professionals, supervisors and managers; Act as an advisor to subordinates regarding projects & overall operations and provide leadership through both hands-on management approaches and delegationBuilding the branch through active sourcing and recruitment of talented employeesDrive employee productivity and performance cultureDevelop and grow existing accounts to generate more revenue and expand cooperationDevelop, maintain, and optimize carrier relationships and capacity procurement strategies
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in the European logistics, Supply chain or Transport industryAdditionally, 3+ years of management experience in a dynamic, analytical-minded environment, with diverse and geographically spread out teams and customer base.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead through changing market conditionsKnowledge of industry metrics and strong affinity with automation, Technology and analytical reporting toolsDemonstrated success generating revenue or business growth in a manager or equivalent roleStrong understanding of industry sales-, account- and financial management operationsBachelor's degree in economics or equivalentEntrepreneur with an innovation bias: continuously scans the market for new opportunities, best practices and potential disruptorsWillingness to travel within the Region on a regular and as need basis
