Job Description Visa is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and passionate Strategy & Business Planning, Operations (BPO) Analyst to join the Emerging Segment Sales (ESS) Team. The ESS Team is responsible for growing acceptance and card usage, as well as diversifying Visa’s revenue, in underpenetrated segments. Examples of these segments include: rent, healthcare, lottery & sports wagering, digital gaming, small businesses, electric vehicle charging and transit.
The Strategy & BPO Analyst will focus on high impact strategy assessments to identify new growth opportunities and analyze the supporting business case within new and emerging segments. The role will also help develop new approaches to work more efficiently and drive team member engagement within the ESS team. This position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive the ESS organization’s priorities.
The Analyst will report directly to the Manager of BPO & Strategy on the ESS team. The BPO & Strategy function leads business operations, business planning, sales enablement and strategy for the ESS team. The incoming candidate will closely collaborate with Sales, Product, Sales Enablement & Analytics, Finance, Marketing, NA Operations, as well as BPO & Strategy colleagues across the NA MS&A organization to execute on operational and strategic priorities of the business.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Partner closely with the Manager of BPO & Strategy to lead operational activities and strategic initiatives for the ESS teamDevelop and enhance processes and tools to optimize business operations and improve efficiency of the teamConduct industry research and analysis on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and new emerging industries to further ESS as a thought leader in our defined segmentsSupport content development of presentations for internal business reviews and Visa-hosted internal and client-facing eventsOwn organizational administration, including organizational charts, and event calendarizationAssist in budget management to optimize resource allocation across the ESS teamSupport the management of scorecard performance reportingSupport the ESS team’s client engagement strategy which includes how the team 'shows up' with clients and at industry events, as well as how we measure and track the ROI of our investments. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,700.00 to 145,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
