We are looking for Multi-Property Bookkeeper for our Client, a Multifamily properties and Commercial investment real estate, located in Massapequa, NY.
This is temp-to-perm job, could start as a part-time on a temp side and when converted to the permanent becomes a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9a-5pm,
In this role you will be responsible for all bookkeeping aspects of the property management company.
The ideal candidate would have proven bookkeeping experience, preferably with a property management firm. Knowledge of QuickBooks.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Prepare all journal entries and process all accounts payable for multiple properties located in Long Island
Monitor all accounts and analyze all operating expense and reconciliations
Maintain budget for rental income and manage operating expenses
Prepare all monthly financial reports, analyze all rent schedules, record all financial statements, prepare all reports for site level analysis and provide support to executive officers
Administer all lease processes, evaluate all activities and prepare required reports for same
Ensure accuracy of all data in tenant ledgers and evaluate all reports on monthly basis
Coordinate with property management to ensure compliance to all procedures, evaluate and assist in preparing all annual budgets
Manage communication with tenants, generate and distribute monthly tenant invoices and statements
Provide assistance to all internal and external customers, prepare all monthly financial statements and reconcile all bank data
Maintain integrity of all data and ensure efficient processing of all customer and vendor invoices
Collaborate with revenue accounting and account receivables team to maintain knowledge of all transactions, participate in various acquisitions processes within required timeframe, and ensure compliance to all internal controls and company policies
Evaluate all balance sheet accounts, evaluate all property activities, provide support to all documents, interpret all complex documents for loans and agreements, ensure compliance to all client requirements and provide support to asset management
Complete and submit Annual Survey of Income and Expenses for Nassau County Properties

The salary range for this position is $26-$30/hour
