System One is assisting a Tulsa area client who is seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. The bookkeeper works with individuals who excel in their areas of expertise.
Responsibilities:
Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions for multiple entities.
AR: accurately post payments received for multiple entities, electronic check upload, bank deposit run as needed
AP: set up vendors, process change of address and/or set up new accounts with vendors as needed for new entities, budget-based coding and invoice entry for multiple entities, statement reconciliation, weekly check run of approved invoices, electronic filing
Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, account and bank reconciliations and journal entries
Assist Controller in all areas as needed: Human Resources, Accounting, Tax, Budgets and other family business related information
Process requests for HOA status/closing letters
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
Sage experience strongly preferred
Effective communication skills
Efficient and detail oriented
Strong analytical skills
Organized with the ability to multi-task
Team player with a strong work ethic
Human Resource experience a plus
Salary: $50K - $55K
