What you will be doing:
Product hardware design owner for GPU-based products.
Research in advance for new circuit and board-level solutions for the future of new-generation chips. Work with component vendors for some customized parts.
Schematic concept design, component selection, and Bill of Material generation with the best cost optimization.
Board/System level Hardware debug and responsible for product design issues in the life cycle.
Co-work with SI, EMI, Layout, mechanical, thermal, and operation team to optimize the product design to achieve the SOL design.
Co-work with the silicon solution team to develop peripheral circuit design.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of work experience.
Experience with design tools (such as OrCAD, Concept, Allegro, etc.)
Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.
Experience with at least 4 of the following: Design for Manufacturing/Compliance (EMI/Safety)/Reliability and Stability; Signal/Power Integrity Design; High-speed interface design (PCIE/DP/InfiniBand/NVLINK); PCB layout design and PCB fabrication and assembly; System interconnection and performance evaluation.
Deep system knowledge of at least 2 areas: DC to DC/TLVR Power design; Silicon bring-up/Issue debugging; PC/Server/Datacenter architecture; Graphics or Automotive product design knowledge.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in pre-layout and post-layout simulations at the board level for signal integrity analysis.
Background in high-volume, low-cost applications.
Understanding of VLSI design process and bring-up.
