Job Description
The Biomarker Sales Specialist - West for the Clinical Diagnostics Division will have the responsibility to attain the revenue and growth goals for the Biomarker Proprietary portfolio. This includes the BRAHMS branded Kryptor Compact Plus, Procalcitonin (PCT), preeclampsia and chromogranin A (CgA) instrumentation and assays. The designated geography will include the West region of the United States, and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager - West, Clinical Team. This role will actively engage in growth strategies, tactics and initiatives to deliver on goals and enable the GCO NORAM business to maximize growth and revenue attainment. They will also be responsible for funnel health for near-term revenue gains and new opportunities development to build a strong pipeline for future growth. This individual will apply sales experience, diagnostic knowledge, product expertise, market intelligence, and leadership skills to grow sales and profitability. Remotely based within the designated region.
What will you do?
Attain Biomarker Proprietary specific revenue and capital placement goalsCo-travel with field sales to aid in new and expand opportunity creation and acceleration of closed-won businessCreate strategy and tactics to maximize market penetration and competitive takeawaysAugment sales efforts including: prospecting, cultivating and maintaining key relationships to maximize volume and deliver sales goalsConsistently communicate with sales leadership on KPIs, pipeline health and market impact situationsForm strong Business Unit connections with solid working relationshipsModerate travel (~75%) to include but not limited to customer facing events, co-travel with Account Managers, national and regional conferences/tradeshow attendance requirementsProvide input regarding contract, pricing, delivery termsAnalyzes problems and raises potential issues to leadership in a timely mannerMonitor competition, market trends and develop business network participating in professional marketing eventsActive engagement in PPI, Process ImprovementsCoverage - Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Texas
Experience
Previous experience with proven track record in medical sales, preferably clinical chemistry/immunoassay diagnostic market. Minimum of 5+ years of IVD selling experience.
Education
University bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. Life sciences, Biology, Marketing, Business) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $115,000.00-$135,000.00.
