We are seeking a highly talented and enthusiastic biologist with interest in plant physiology, cell culture, in vitro assays, molecular biology, controlled environment and greenhouse management.
Applicants should have a degree in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or other related field with 2+ years of plant care or laboratory experience.
Candidates with Bachelors or Masters degree are desired.
Candidate will be expected to routinely handle the growth and maintenance of various crops in controlled environments such as growth chambers, greenhouses and in the laboratory.
The successful candidate will assist in the execution and documentation of experiments. Ability to interpret experimental results is required.
This position requires a highly motivated and results-oriented team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and scientific depth.
Additional Desired Skills/Experience:Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, Excel, database, data analysis software and basic bioinformatics tools.Attention to details, strong experimental design, data analysis and interpretation skills, strong ability to work in a team setting, and strong communication andorganizational skills are essential.
