General Information:

　　Hitachi Energy is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Training Specialist to join our team in Jefferson City, Missouri. We're looking for a professional who has expertise in corporate training and adult learning methods. This role facilitates various training to include training line employees the skills to conduct on-the-job training (OJT), leadership skills to people leaders, and lean manufacturing concepts to all employees. This role will have input into the course development and may aid in the creation of training content. Some training content will come from 3rd party vendors. The Training Specialist role reports to the Training & Development Leader at the site location.

　　Your Responsibilities:

　　Conduct non-technical training, including leadership skills and lean management concepts.Partner with cross-functional teams to assess the learning needs and design training programs. Regular collaboration will include Safety, Quality, Operations, and Continuous Improvement.Train and qualify Trainers in Structured On-The-Job Training (S-OJT). This includes coaching Trainers to best practices.Manage training records within a Learning Management System (LMS).Acquire proficiency in Lean Management system (ITM System) and coaching others in lean manufacturing tools and methods.Continuously research and implement effective teaching methods.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

　　Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.Proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and conversational).Degree and/or certifications in education, business, human resources, information technology, psychology, or a related field or equivalent experience in training, coaching, or related position.Strong facilitation, communication (English & Spanish), and engagement skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).Commitment to personal learning and development.Self-motivated and confident in engaging cross-functional employees to understand their needs and views.Experience with LMS is a plus.DDI Facilitator certification is a plus (requirement to achieve certification, if not currently certified).Experience with Lean Principles is a plus (requirement to gain proficiency of Hitachi Energy's Lean Management System)
