Summary:
The Medical Receptionist II will perform various front office functions for Cook Children's orthopedic clinic. Duties will include verifying patient records, obtaining insurance & consent verifications, scheduling patients for appointments, and assisting with referrals and collections. This job requires a high level of flexibility and excellent communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to changes as they occur in both staffing levels as well as patient volumes.
Required Education/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent.2 years' experience working in a medical office.Understanding of diversified insurance plans.Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.Strong customer service/communication skills.Bilingual candidate (English/Spanish) preferred.
