Leidos is seeking full time Remote Bilingual FHA Customer Service Specialists with Mortgage Origination experience to join our Contact Center. As a Bilingual FHA Customer Service Specialist you will:
Provide excellent customer service, responding to a variety of calls and emails from the lending industry and the public on FHA guidelines and proceduresUse your knowledge of the mortgage industry to locate answers in a knowledge database to respond to client's requestsFollow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channelsDocument all of your contacts in a databaseKeep up to date on FHA mortgage processes and procedures
To be a successful Bilingual FHA Customer Service Specialist, you must possess:
The ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English, both verbally and writtenThe ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications, and utilize search toolsExcellent time management skills and dependabilitySelf-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday between 8am to 8pm Eastern Time, based on business needs
Required Experience and Education:
At least 2 years of FHA loan origination experience (i.e. loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer) plus an additional year of customer service or contact center experience, or at least 3 years of loan origination experience working with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans (i.e. FHA, USDA, VA)High School diploma or GEDMust be able to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.Bilingual (Spanish/English), verbal and written.FHA Experience
Technical Requirements:
A minimum of 25 mbps download and 10 mbps upload speed from a reliable internet provider (Cable, DSL or Fiber Optic/FiOS providers only).Must be directly connected to router/modem via Ethernet cable. Cannot use a wireless connection.You must agree to Leidos' Telework Agreement which includes a home work area that is free of all distractions, allowing your full undivided attention to our customers.You will be provided with a Leidos computer, 2 monitors, headset, camera, Ethernet cable, mouse, keyboard, security token, and all connecting cables.The camera is used for the first 3 weeks of training, any on-going training after that, plus staff meetings
The pay range for this position varies by location and is typically between $20 to $24 per hour; actual rate may be higher based on experience and work/home location.

This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits.
