Position Summary
HR Associate Generalists are the "face of HR" for employees and management. They provide HR services related to labor and employee relations, compensation and recruiting. They interface with HR Programs on the delivery of standard, consistent HR processes and talent activities for individual employees and managers. Generalists typically support HRMs in support of their business units. Experienced or hi-potential generalists may own a client group, growing into the HRM role. The Associate Generalist function as the Employee Advocate and HR Advisor on people related matters and culture builder. They handle employee relations and discipline matters, complete HR activities for individual employees by location (job changes, comp changes hiring, terms, investigations, etc.), facilitate and advise on all programmatic HR activities (goal setting, performance reviews, talent planning, salary planning, etc.) and execute on HR priorities and/or initiatives for their group
Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks supporting the local VP/HRBP/HR Generalists and delivery of general Human Resource programs. Tasks may include coordinating communication tasks, organizing program materials, distributing and/posting of materials related to HR initiatives (ex. voucher distribution, posting legal documents and notices). Works with other Human Resources staff on special assignments to one or more locations.Acts as a key contact in the Lodi Region by responding to employee questions and providing information on HR-related services and programs or redirecting employees to appropriate HR colleagues for further guidance as needed.Provides support as a liaison to corporate team to assist with general administrative tasks, logistics and programs requiring a Lodi Region/W&S Operations champion from HR. These include Wellness initiatives (new hire program/call, on-site flu shot coordination, biometric screening assistance), Total Rewards programs and Corporate Affairs, internship program support, etc.,Assist with presentation facilitation/training as needed.Prepares all employment documentation needed for entry into HRIS, such as new hires, department transfers, salary changes, terminations, etc. Obtains approval from HR Manager and submits to HRIS Administrator for processing.Maintains employee and departmental records. Responsible for tracking and maintaining on & off-site HR files.Coordinates and tracks temporary staffing through our vendors including: submitting temp requisitions, screening resumes, coordinating phone or on-site interviews for hiring managers, and assisting hiring managers with temporary hire Workday and ServiceBar requests. Assist Supervisors with timekeeping edits.Plans and coordinates meeting details and communication for HR team as needed and manages catering orders for departmental functions (meetings, birthdays, etc.).Assists employees in need of the mother's room by showing them the room location, and providing support where needed.Assists with tasks related to employee events (making name tents, event setup and pouring's, etc.)Assists HR Manager and Generalist with recruiting efforts. This may include posting open jobs internally/externally, maintaining recruitment file/records, scheduling interviews, and scheduling pre-employment screening.Creates requisitions in Workday for new positions & terminations, as needed.Assists with on-boarding new hires.Helps perform Workday open position and other periodic data audits as needed. Produces and provides recurring and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.Develop Human Resource knowledge through learning and direction from the Human Resource Generalist and Human Resource Manager.Assist with job descriptions updates, as needed.Assist with I-9 Verification, as needed.Safety-follows safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member's safety.Completes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.Experience working in a fast-paced operations environment is preferred. Some knowledge of Human Resources function is highly preferred.Team player with the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, positive fashion.High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with strong Internet usage skills. HRIS experience (Workday) a plus.Must be a highly-organized individual who excels at establishing and maintaining effective organizational systems.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor a message or communication depending on the audience.Must excel at taking initiative, pro-actively following through on projects, and successfully juggling a variety of responsibilities while meeting deadlines.High degree of professionalism and maturity with the demonstrated ability to handle confidential/sensitive material.

A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

The salary range for this role is:
$54,600.00 - $78,600.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
