ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a strong bid writer with a track record of successful bids in the IT consultancy and software engineering space? Do you have extensive knowledge of the UK public procurement process and consistently write high scoring answers in a concise and persuasive manner? If so, EPAM wants to hear from you.
We are expanding our UK Public Sector team and are currently looking for an experienced bid writer to join us. Come join a team that is forging a new path for the business and be a part of our journey as you play an integral role in supporting, shaping, and writing a wide range of project proposals for the UK public sector.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Read all information contained in bid packs to assess and categorize the requirements in the context of EPAM's capabilities
Conduct stakeholder interviews with subject matter experts, consolidate information from disparate internal sources, and assess tender marking criteria to write concise, high-scoring answers demonstrating our ability to deliver
Conduct in-depth research of client business strategy, culture, and values to ensure written responses demonstrate knowledge of what is important to the client
Consolidate company information and technical answers
Synthesize findings and write non-technical and technical answers, ensuring they are within word count limits and industry marking criteria
Work with the public sector bid team throughout the entire lifecycle of the tender
REQUIREMENTS
5 years+ experience of UK public sector bid writing
Proven track record of successful bids with a strong submission to shortlisting ratio
Software Engineering & IT Consultancy UK public sector bid writing experience preferred
High level of proficiency of written English
Ability to understand, gather the relevant information for the purposes of writing the answers from multiple subject matter experts, through meetings, interviews, presentations etc
Excellent writing style and ability to write in a consistent tone that adapts to each tender
Knowledge of the public sector procurement process, requirements, expectations
