Job Description:
Capgemini is seeking an experience and highly motivated Benefits Leader to oversee the Benefits team in the day-to-day functions and administration of Capgemini's employee benefit programs in US and Canada. The Benefits Leader will be responsible for the administration of all benefit-related programs and services in a very fast paced and dynamic environment. These include health and welfare plans, voluntary benefits plans, retirement plans, time-off, STD/LTD, Wellness and EAP. The leader will collaborate with other Benefit Leaders in coordinating, implementing, and maintaining human resources and Benefits systems and ensuring the accuracy of our data. Additionally, the leader will demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Set the direction of the Benefits Strategy, recommend and administer employee benefits programs including Health and Welfare benefits, STD/LTD. Wellness, 401k, NQDC, RRSP and various paid leave programs.Provide thought leadership to Business Leaders. As the subject matter expert on the HR team, the leader collaborates with senior leaders and HR partners on programs and solutions that advance the company's overall business goals.Work with the HR team to design and implement tailored solutions that cater to the short and long-term needs of the company's various business and support groups.Provide guidance to direct reports ensuring successful execution of new policies, procedures and plans.Mentor/coach employees to provide growth opportunities.Directly manage a multimillion-dollar Benefits budget. Have full understanding of the budgeting process, accrual process and maintenance.Collaborate with Finance on benefit reconciliation; tracking actual spend vs accruals.In collaboration with the Broker, strategically position Capgemini by determining company's competitive position within the industry.Develop cost control measures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost to the Company.In collaboration with Legal, ensure compliance, policies, and procedures align with ERISA, IRS, DOL, FMLA, Section 125, HIPAA, etc.Maintain good standing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including, Vendors, Operations, Finance, Recruitment, Business Leaders, etc.Deep understanding of Program and systems design interdependencies; prior HRMS implementation experience required.Serve on the Retirement Committee to monitor plan performance.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience with Global Benefits in a fast-paced environment.Experience in Managing a Team.Experience in leading projects.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Excellent planning and organizing skills.Full understanding of US government regulations, benefit program trends and prevailing practicesFull understanding of Canada's provincial regulations, benefits trends and practicesDetail oriented with high attention to accuracy.Excellent computer skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS, and Benefits PlatformsBachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources, or a related field.
