WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for an EMESA DEI Senior Manager to design and own the implementation of BCG X's DEI regional strategy and programming in alignment X's global DEI strategy and aspirations. You will engage a variety of stakeholders across our eight systems within the region, advising the X EMESA DEI Chair on areas of focus to advance the DEI agenda. In addition, you will be responsible for running and enhancing pre-existing DEI programming (e.g., X.Women, ElevateX career advancement program) in the region. You will advise our regional leaders and people teams on our internal processes to help our leaders to achieve our DEI objectives, global aspirations, including achieving and maintaining equity in our processes. This role reports to our Global DEI Programs Director.
The role is extremely diversified, covering recruiting, reporting, education, communications, culture change cross diversity dimensions such as gender, LGBTQ+, (dis)ability, and ethnicity, with a focus on Women and Ethnic & Culture for now.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Build and lead region's DEI strategy aligned with global DEI vision, understanding the complexity and nuances of each system or country within the region
Serve as a thought partner to EMESA DEI Chair, ElevateX Chair and People Chair, helpingcreate the story and drafting leadership decks (EMESA LT, EMESA People Team etc.)
Secure leadership focus to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion across EMESA people practices
Ensure all relevant stakeholders are addressed and continuously nudged to support achieving our ambition
Draft internal communications for EMESA DEI Chair and internal EMESA employee forums (e.g., townhalls)
Manage current DEI programming at scale, including ElevateX and EMESA X.Women
Jointly with the analytics team(s), create summary view of highlights from employee perception surveys based on demographic experiences, suggest the "So What" and execute on agreed "So What"
Raise awareness on DEI challenges in other People Team functions i.e., Recruiting/CD/PA People Managers by creating slide decks / joining their network calls
Manage DEI budget for programmatic/region-wide initiatives
Partner with BCG EMESA DEI team to align with X's DEI strategy and programs
Implement industry best practices to drive shifts in mindsets and behaviors, providing DEI resources and tools when applicable
Ensuring to raise awareness on DEI challenges in other People Team functions i.e., Recruiting/CD/PA People Managers by creating slide decks / joining their network calls
Manage DEI budget for programmatic/region-wide initiatives
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
6-8 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated eAxperience in the diversity, equity and inclusion and broader people functions
A proven track record of managing projects to successful outcomes in a complex and highly professional environment with a particular focus on stakeholder management
Have proven that you can handle analytical challenges and can work with analytic teams to set up new KPI / reporting systems
Experience of building effective working relationships across geographies and leveraging these relationships to deliver positive outcomes
Experience of producing, communicating, managing and storing project documentation
Fluency in English (verbal and written) to a very high standard
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and well experienced in communicating project updates and results to senior audiences

You will report to our Global DEI Programs Director. You will work closely with our two EMESA senior leaders- the EMESA DEI Elevate X Chairs as well.
