About the Role:
Barron’s is seeking an energetic and motivated journalist to provide insightful news analysis and enterprise about the companies, people and financial systems that comprise Wall Street.
You Will:
Develop original enterprise stories that enable readers to see the inner workings of the most powerful financial system in the world
Develop original story ideas from Wall Street firms such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citigroup and fintechs like PayPal, as well as the companies that are driving private credit to new heights
Track new developments in finance and how technology giants like Apple and Google are encroaching on the sector
Have a proven track record of jumping on major news with sophisticated analysis
You Have:
3-5 years of experience preferred
Strong ability to collaborate with reporters, editors and visual journalists
Working knowledge of finance and markets; demonstrated ability to develop sources, use records and data, and break news as a staff writer of a major newsroom.
Ability to write breaking news analysis in real time

Pay Range: $50,000 - $180,000
