The Mission Resort and Club is looking for a Banquet Chef. Located in Florida’s hill county and spread over 500 acres, Mission Resort is home to four restaurants, 16,000 square feet of meeting space, two golf courses, and a 250-room inn.
As the Banquet Chef you will be responsible for food served at large events such as weddings, conventions, corporate functions, and etc. This includes, p lanning, coordinating, and executing banquet menus in collaboration with the culinary team; supervise and lead kitchen staff during banquet events to ensure seamless operations; maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste; collaborate with event planners and clients to customize menus based on their preferences and dietary restrictions; monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and minimizing waste; train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and performance; adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment; stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into banquet menus; and completing opening and closing duties as necessary and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, this could be the job for you!
